I wish all the doctors and dentist that I've gone to as a very young child around 4 years old, would of figured that I had a tmd. 28 years old now nd I have no insurance barely enough money 2 even live on my own and now my tmd is getting worse and worse and I just want to fucking cry everyday. I have nobody 2 help me nd I have zero chance to ever get the medical attention I need. Absolutely horrible 😞 it's legit affects my everyday life. I've only just recently learned about month or so ago that tmj disorders can also affect the way you sound when u speak. So been bullied since a child can't get into any relationships because who wants to be with a man who sounds funny when he speaks and is always tripping over his words. Fucking hate this and I Absolutely neeed HELP and I dint know where to go for it. Desperately want to stop feeling like shit every single day and sure in hell don't want to live like this until the day I die. 😢😢. I really need help

I have tmj too with consistent dizziness but the 1st time I wore my night guard and take it off in the morning, I became more dizzy. Did you feel the same too?

Going this dentistry would massively cost you a lot for this condition like I have and yes they would take advantage of it hypothetically!

Hi! I have been experiencing clicks in my head recently. This occurs whenever I move my head forward or sometimes to the side. There is no pain, but my doctor said it's just earwax. I just watched another video by Dr Demerjian on instructions on how to wear a "sleep appliance". I have to assume it is a personal video for a specific group of people who are his patients/clients to be shown how to wear during Covid -19 as it couldn't be shown in-office I wonder what the appliance was for. He mentioned snoring as the only key to a condition requiring a sleep appliance, no other condition/symptoms were mentioned so not sure what a sleep appliance treats. This video talks about wearing a "mouthpiece" for TMJ but I can't assume the other video was about that. It's possible the term mouthpiece is being used interchangeably with sleep appliance, but I wouldn't assume. Also, I wonder what kind of doctor this is? family doctor? dentist? The lack of clear information is astounding

What is a mouthpiece? Would have been great if you'd shown it in the video. Also, if you'd mentioned what kind of doctors you've seen? You know, chiropractors are doctors. So are dentists. So was it a family doctor? Specialist? Frustrating and disappointing video, lacking information where testimonials are probably the best source as I think a lot of "treatment" is trial and error/"here, try this"/etc
